Holy Week exhibition and labyrinth nearly ready!
Preparations are well underway and here is a sneak preview of some of what happened today. The Angel Stage is now finished and looks amazing! Remember to join us for late night music 11pm on the Angel Stage from Friday. The bare bones of the labyrinth were also laid down.
The art teachers from Malmesbury School have already brought in and set up lots of the student's artwork down the south aisle of the Abbey. The A level Art students have done a stunning job of depicting the stations of the cross.
And Pipeline came in this evening to help put together the big 'praise wall' for the 24/7 prayer room.
The Cafe is also nearly ready - so nice to be able to sink into a leather sofa and soak up the brilliant atmosphere!
Remember to join us for the 8pm opening of our 10 day Holy Week Festival in the Abbey this Friday 14th March 2008.

It's all looking good so far. I know it's all going to be really exciting, particularly the artwork, and I can't wait for it to start.

I have been watching the website with interest all this week and am very excited about tonight and the next 212 hours of prayer our Abbey will be open for. Last year the Labyrinth was so special to me. I am looking forward to my time in it this year. And everything else too.

All that is happening at the Abbey this week is a great joy. I love the art exhibition, particularly the wicker and metal sculpture. I am looking forward to my stints in the Prayer room. Thanks to everyone who is organising - and not getting much sleep!

The events at 11.00pm on the Angel Stage have been delightful, worth staying up for. Helping at the Compassion Cafe is a wondeful way of getting to know people and chatting to visitors. I'm so looking forward to my time in prayer room.
